For my friend’s GNI that I posted about on Monday, each of us had to bring an international delight. We had specifications to not be boring by bringing a traditional Italian or Mexican dish. She wanted us to think outside the box and I loved it! My head was flowing with fun ideas from different types of Indian dishes to Irish stews. But, I ultimately went with a Greek dessert dish called the Baklava… plus it was fun to say! I’m no chief, so what did I do? I went to my parent’s house to have my dad help me out
. There was no way I was going to experiment on a dish I’ve never heard of before. Plus, if my dad can cook up 1,000+ cookies for the dessert bar at my wedding, then he can do anything!
