One Year Cake Smashing Session, Centreville Virginia

I love cake smashing sessions because you never know what kind of photos you’re going to get and it’s just all fun!  Celebrating their first birthday can be so much fun and confusing too since they are like, “Why is all this attention on me?” and “What is this sweet mushy thing in front of me?”.  This little one had the best time and loved ALL of it!  She definitely dove into that cake and it made for some fun pictures!  I want to be in her world!  Happy Birthday, little one!

Winter Mini Session, Centreville Virginia

With baby number four on the way, this mama wanted to capture some last family photos before they become a family of six.  You can tell she is a good mom because all the kids loved hugging around her!  And her little baby bump was just adorable!  I loved photographing the kids because they were so sweet with their expressions.  It was fun and I look forward to capturing more photos in the future when there new addition is here!

Winter Mini Session, Centreville Virginia

Even though we had to reschedule these mini sessions because of rain, we still got lucky and had a warm evening which was perfect for pictures!  Winter mini sessions are a good time to get those late family session in before the weather becomes unbearable!

I feel like I just saw this family for their maternity session and now they have a handsome four month old!  I just love this sweet family of four!  They are so nice, wonderful to work with, and photograph so well!  I do love these matching outfits for holiday photos!

Family Session, Leesburg Virginia

When the leaves are no longer on the trees, we switch from fall to holiday season in just one week!  I do enjoy taking holiday family portraits because there is something very warm and sweet about them.  We took these holiday pictures at one of my favorite spots this time a year, The Old Lucketts Vintage Store.  Such a fun place to visit with a tone of photo opportunity spots.  Plus the stores are on point with farm house vintage decor.

I love this family because of the personalities of these lovely girls.  The older sister loves to tell me all about her age and her birthday and everything she loves to play with.  I love kids, so I love to hear what they have to say.  And the little sister makes THE CUTEST FACE when her daddy is singing a Christmas song.  Loved it!

Family Session, Centreville Virginia

Centreville is a great place for a fall family session.  One of my favorite places to go is the Historical Stone Bridge of the Manassas Battlefield.  With the beautiful tall grass, colorful trees, and the stone bridge, it makes a beautiful spot this time of year.

I love it when I get to photograph my friends and capture their families.  This is one of my favorite friends whom I’ve known since we were in 9th grade.  Their beautiful girl brought life and fun to our session and their little boy is so sweet and loves to cuddle.  Even though we had a cold windy evening, you would never have known.  The sunlight was perfect and the scenery created the best backdrop.  I love this family and love even more that I got to capture their fall portraits!
